It’s a new year, a new semester, so a new intern. Meet Arthur Russell, a transplant from the east coast to Cassopolis, Michigan. As with all of us, Arthur is a huge film fan and looks forward to working within the storytelling aspect of video making while he’s here. It seems he chose his internship wisely.
In his own words: “It was always just as cool to see the amazing things was on screen just emotionally impactful and really just the aspiring stories that were being told and I wanted to be a part of that in some way.”

CLIENT STORY: Todd Martin Youth Leadership – The Sandu Story

Todd Martin Youth Leadership had us telling the story of their foundation and a special family, the Sandus, involved with it. They are a truly remarkable client and family and were a blast to work with and film!

TMYL exists to prepare young people – especially those from under-resourced families and communities – for success as individuals and as active, responsible citizens, through innovative tennis, education, life skills, and leadership development programming.

CLIENT STORY: Habitat Capital Region – Lonetta’s Story

This is a video telling of Lonetta’s story. Lonetta contacted Habitat in order to move out of her current home as it is in an unsafe neighborhood, and Habitat is building her a new home where her and her children can be safe and happy!

As the family says ‘A forever forever home.’

Habitat for Humanity Capital Region‘s mission is to build strength, stability, self-reliance, and shelter.

CLIENT STORY: It’s A Breast Thing – Financial Grants PSA

This is a Public Service Announcement that we did during lockdown for our client ‘It’s a Breast Thing’. Sandee has appeared in a couple videos of ours now, and her story is such an incredible one that we love to share.

It’s a Breast Thing‘s mission is to enrich the lives of local breast cancer patients on their journey to better health.

UnoDeuce VIDEO: UnoDeuce 2021 Storytelling Reel

UnoDeuce Multimedia is celebrating its 20th year this year. We kick off this celebratory year by reflecting on some of the images we created last year. We had a very successful 2020 despite the obstacles that were presented all of us. So we were able to really capture quite a few stories and work with some new organizations as well as our regular clients.

CLIENT VIDEO: Elder Law of Michigan – Mid-America Pension Rights Project: Janet’s Story

In this video we talk with Janet and her daughter Darlene about the help they received when Janet was informed that she was getting a pension and was given very little time to get things in order. Elder Law was crucial in helping Janet in her time of need.
