The Michigan Osteopathic Association, in cooperation with Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and the United Dairy Industry of Michigan, held a mini-medical school for kindergarten through third graders at Kendon Elementary School in Lansing in honor of National Osteopathic Medicine week, April 13-19, 2014.
The Firecracker Foundation is a nonprofit in the Lansing area working to provide children who have survived sexual trauma with high-quality, consistent therapy and access to the art and athletic programming that will help them heal their whole being.

REACH Studio Art Project received a Mid-Michigan Program for Greater Sustainability grant through the Community Reinvestment Fund. The Fund was established through a grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to the Tri-County Regional Planning Commission. The Fund is just one of nine projects to expand regional planning efforts in Clinton, Eaton and Ingham counties.
